Jordan- The Red Sea

The exceptional richness of marine life in the Red Sea and in the Gulf of Aqaba Jordan in particular, is due to an unusual combination of environmental factors. While its waters run quite deep, they are warmed by volcanic heat emanating from the sea bed. The result of this is an environment ideally suited to the complex and delicate ecosystem of coral reefs and sea creatures.

Aqaba provides a perfect location for a short dive trip. We recommend you combine this dive trip with a jeep trip in the desert and/or an additional day at the red city Petra. Click here for an example itinerary of a two day dive trip.

On all dives it is important to remember to protect the underwater environment. Keep buoyant, prevent lifting sand, hurting coral or fish and taking out anything from this unique habitat.
